Tours of "The Hidden Gardens of Bath

Hidden away behind some of Bath's houses and hotels lie a select number of beautiful private gardens, some rarely seen. We are now able to offer you the opportunity of touring some of these delightful gems.

Whole day tours (with coffee and a two course lunch), half day tours (with a Cream Tea) and 2 hour tours are on offer.

Themed days and evenings also available. Possible themes are: container gardening - a visit to a "garden grown in pots"; music and poetry recitals; drama; botanical painting; using art to enhance a garden. The setting for such themed events is a beautiful garden with wine available to sip!

Garden tour guide Helen has lived in Bath with her family for thirty-two years. Flower arranging and a desire to grow her own food led her into gardening. "I love all aspects of gardening but especially good planting and design" says Helen. "I attended a garden design course in Bath and designed gardens for friends. Visiting other people's gardens and showing people round my own garden has blossomed into arranging tours of gardens. I possess enthusiasm combined with a sound knowledge of plants and a desire to see people inspired in their own field of creativity by the gardens they visit".
