Welcome to Experience Bath.
Our aim is to make your trip to Bath as enjoyable as possible whether you are on your own or organising a group visit. We will provide you with all the assistance you require.

The City of Bath welcomes more than one million staying visitors and 3.8 million day visitors annually. Experience Bath are local specialists who live and work in Bath and who will help you to plan your visit and help to ensure that you make the most of your time in this historically rich and beautiful UNESCO World Heritage City.

Bath is a very special place but with so much on offer to visitors, it is almost impossible for a visitor to allocate their time efficiently. Experience Bath is here to help you.

The city was designated a World Heritage Site in 1987 by UNESCO thanks to its breath-taking Roman Baths, unique 18th Century Georgian Architecture and beautiful surrounding landscape of green, wooded hillsides making for breath-taking vistas.

Bath’s natural hot springs, which inspired the Roman Baths to be built 2000 years ago, still offer abundant opportunities for spa and relaxation today at the super modern Thermae Bath Spa. Since the opening of Thermae Bath Spa in 2006, the city has secured its historical position as the only town or city in the United Kingdom that offers visitors the opportunity to bathe in naturally heated spring waters. Whether you wish to visit the spas as a member of the public or you prefer to book a spa for your exclusive and private use, Experience Bath can help you experience Bath at its very best.

With almost 300 places offering accommodation varying from ‘five-star’ hotels to campsites with around 180 B+B’s in between, we can help you choose the right option for you, your budget and expectations. We are local experts at arranging host family accommodation and private tuition.

Bath is the perfect base to explore the West Country (including Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the Cotswolds). Central London is also easily accessible. A direct train from Bath Spa Station to London Paddington is less than 90 minutes. If you prefer to travel by car and let one of Experience Bath’s drivers do all the work for you, we can offer you carefully selected and experienced drivers to suit your budget too.

Known as the “City of Festivals”, Bath boasts a packed programme of festivals and concerts each year. Bath offers a wonderful mix of music, literature, theatre, entertainment, comedy and arts to suit every taste and budget from walking tours to gold circle tickets for Michael Bublé’s summer concert.

During November and December, visitors can enjoy the famous and atmospheric Bath Christmas Market. Over 150 traditional wooden chalets adorn the streets and offer unique gifts, decorations, food and drink. You will find everything you could possibly imagine for the perfect Christmas celebration!

Experience Bath’s is here to help you make your trip to Bath as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

“The tours went very well thanks to the very good guides Tony (panoramic bus tour) and Richard (walking tour). Everybody in my group liked them a lot and they were very happy in Bath.

I will ask for them again next time I’m in the region”.
